Overview

The EMCON 3 IN 1 Cashew Moisture Meter is designed for simple and
accurate moisture measurement in the cashew industry.

The meter uses a capacitance-based measurement principle and provides
a single moisture meter for measuring three different cashew products:
Raw Cashew Nut (RCN), Un-Peeled Kernel and Peeled Kernel.

The technology was developed and released in collaboration with
ICAR – Directorate of Cashew Research and EMCON.

Measurement Principle

The EMCON Cashew Moisture Meter uses a capacitance-based measurement
principle for measuring moisture in cashew products.

The capacitance-based technology is used for moisture measurement in
Raw Cashew Nut, Un-Peeled Kernel and Peeled Kernel.

Raw Cashew Nut Measurement

The meter is designed to measure moisture in Raw Cashew Nut (RCN).
The moisture measurement range for Raw Cashew Nut RCN is 0 to 21%.

Un-Peeled Kernel Measurement

The meter can measure moisture in Un-Peeled Kernel over a moisture
measurement range of 0 to 10%.

Peeled Kernel Measurement

The meter can measure moisture in Peeled Kernel over a moisture
measurement range of 0 to 10%.

3-in-1 Measurement

The EMCON Cashew Moisture Meter combines three moisture measurement
applications in a single instrument.
