Under Water Anchor Load Sensor

Underwater load sensor designed to measure the load acting on anchored platforms and wave suppressors, with real-time recording capability for hydrodynamic model studies.
The Under Water Anchor Load Sensor is designed to measure the load acting on anchored platforms that function as wave suppressors and similar underwater structures. Sensors are attached in series to anchor chains to record load data in real time. The system is available in different load ranges and is designed for continuous operation in various types of water.

Overview

The Under Water Anchor Load Sensor is designed to measure the load acting on
anchored platforms, including structures that function as wave suppressors.
The sensor can be installed in series with anchor chains to monitor the load
acting on the anchored structure.

The system records load data in real time and is suitable for experimental
studies involving underwater anchored structures and wave suppression systems.
The sensors are designed for continuous operation in different types of water.

Key Features

  • Designed for underwater load measurement
  • Measures load acting on anchored platforms
  • Suitable for wave suppressor applications
  • Real-time load data recording
  • Available in different load ranges
  • Suitable for continuous underwater operation
  • Can be connected in series with anchor chains
  • 15-metre standard cable

Applications

  • Measurement of loads on anchored platforms
  • Wave suppressor studies
  • Underwater structural studies
  • Hydrodynamic model experiments
  • Anchored structure monitoring
  • Experimental wave studies

Measurement Principle

The sensors are attached in series to the anchor chains of the underwater
structure. The load acting on the anchored platform is transmitted through
the anchor chain, allowing the sensor to record the load data in real time.

Load Measurement

The sensor is intended to measure the load developed on anchored platforms
and related underwater structures. Different sensor load ranges can be selected
according to the requirements of the experimental setup.

Real-Time Recording

The sensors can record load data in real time. Multiple sensors can be
incorporated into an underwater anchor load measurement arrangement to study
the load acting on anchored structures.

Underwater Operation

The sensor is designed for continuous underwater operation and can remain
in different types of water. Its construction uses high density plastic and
stainless steel materials.

Cable Configuration

  • Standard Cable Length: 15 metres
  • Extension: Provision for further extension
Monitor up to 32 sensor channels simultaneously, with real-time recording, graphical monitoring and wave-data analysis from a single system.
